1998 Live at Joe's Grotto 

This is the first official recording by The Furnace.  It was recorded live on August 23rd, 1998 at Joe's Grotto in Phoenix Arizona.  One of the bands cancelled and The Furnace were able to perform for almost two hours. Recording was done by local musician/drummer/engineer Paul Gillispe.  

The special thing about this live release is that includes 9 originals and 2 covers that were not released anywhere else.  It also includes fan and band favorite Illusion.  Illusion being one of the best songs The Furnace ever has released even though it was from a live recording.  This is 100% pure live.  There were no overdubs done and what was played went straight to tape.  The band sounds excited, young and hungry.  This is also the only recording to feature the original lineup of Dan, Kevin, Paul and Rock.
