ONLY ASHES REMAIN
Recorded at High Octane Studios with engineer Josh Ebner. This was the first recorded studio effort by The Furnace. This session had many challenges, as it was when they lost original bass player, Rock Rollain. Dan Drago picked up the bass for a few songs himself, and The Furnace hired on a local musican and friend, Jeff Wagner to complete the bass tracks. This 7 song album showcased what would later be The Furnace's local favorite song, BURY MY BONES. This song went on to be a regular hit on 98kUpd Local Talent show w/ Larry Mac, and even made it to Larry Mac's # 2 spot for best local rock song of 1998. There was even talk on air with the popular morning show Dave Pratt of putting it into regular rotation, which never really came to fruition.
